Signing up with Hostmonster
After visiting this Hostmonster promo link you’ll be taken to their website with the $5.95 coupon already activated as you can see on the screenshot below. Now click on the red “Sign Up Now” button to continue.
Now, if you already own a domain name, go ahead and enter it in the “I Have a Domain” field, however you might consider registering a new domain, since it’s free anyway. Later on you can add your existing domain in cPanel.
Remember, if you choose to register a new domain name, it might not always be available, therefore Hostmonster will automatically suggest you an alternative list of names currently available for registration. If you liked a domain in the list, just click on it and you’ll be taken to the next step, if not just try a different search at the bottom of the page.
On the next screen you are required:
- To fill out a simple registration form.
- Choose a desired hosting term. Check out Hostmonster Discount Options article.
- And fill in payment info. You have a choice of paying with a credit card or Paypal.
- There is also an option to use a domain whois privacy. Check the checkbox to prevent other people from seeing your real registration information.
Upon the successful sign up process, you will receive a detailed email from Hostmonster with all necessary credentials.
